We just got news of a teacher stating that they were "disappointed in them for defending and supporting this protest" (the protest held soon). This teacher is Mrs. Tigno, a teacher at Newington High. What is wrong with the school? Even if you try and say this is made up, this is from countless sources, as well as the person that Mrs. Tigno had stated this to. This is horrible. Adults in a SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT should be role models, setting their students up for success in the real world, as well as supporting them and helping them grow as a person. This is just heartbreaking to see, but it raises our motivation to end this once and for all. For now, we have contacted local news outlets and are awaiting their response. Hopefully, we can get the attention of the media. For now, stay tuned.
