The Issue
I, Dean Allen Snow (Formerly Cochrun), "kidnapped" my biological daughter, Trinity Marie Chipowsky (Formerly Cochrun). I took my daughter from her maternal grandparents, Robin Lynn Chipowsky and Andrew Joel Chipwosky. I was forced against my will to plead guilty to kidnapping in violation of SDCL 22-19-1 (5) and was sentenced to 20 years in the State Penitentiary. Only then, after I was unjustly convicted and wrongfully imprisoned, I was told that I have to register as a sex offender for the rest of my life.
I state as a matter of fact that I had never did anything that could ever be remotely consider to be inappropriate with my daughter.
I am from South Dakota, and currently have to register as a sex offender in the County of Meade with the Meade County Sheriff's Office located in Sturgis, South Dakota. The case originates from the County of Meade and the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court.
