Reinstate driver fired for saving dogs in snowstorm

The Issue

Liz Freeman's employer should have given her accolades for being a good and compassionate human being -- for going above and beyond to help a living creature in need during a weather emergency.

Instead they fired her.

Liz and her five passengers on a SETHRA bus saw two frightened, bewildered, freezing dogs caught in Wednesday afternoon's snowstorm. They lured the dogs into the vehicle and drove them to the shelter.

Everyone agreed this was the right thing to do and everyone got safely home and out of the weather.

Then Liz was fired.

Let SETHRA know you think Liz should be given her job back and no one should be fired for helping another who is in need.
