The ribbons are bright, and the rustling noisy, as they move, jostle, and intertwine high in the breeze, to turn a passerby's eye and ear, to the scale of unheard stories of tears, fear, sadness, hurts and pain that happened here, often too deep to ever think or speak about, let alone heal, to then turn a passerby's mind to thoughts of responsibility and accountability, and their role in their community, in their society, to keep children safe, and their role in holding the feet to the fire of a scorching, searing justice of those who haven't.
We are so grateful to the school and local communities for their ongoing support, thank you. The following are the locations of LOUD fences featured in the photographs, but we also acknowledge the many other institutions where child sexual abuse had occurred in our communities.
