Thank you for the wonderful community support in the creation of Bayside LOUD fences on the first Sunday in May last year. We have responded to community requests this year, and are including creation of LOUD fences at what was the site of Sandringham Technical School, now the senior campus of Sandringham College at 11 Holloway Rd, Sandringham. And also Haileybury College campus at 855 Springvale Rd, Keysborough.
We are also continuing our communications with Freemasons Victoria, seeking their support of community members tying ribbons at their Bayside locations.
Last year's LOUD fences were consequential for so many people. It enabled many survivors to find their voice, connect with others, and take collective action. It enabled mourning the loss of those victims of child sexual abuse whom are no longer with us. It enabled a greater public recognition of the scale and impact of historic, systemic child sexual abuse in Bayside Melbourne.
