1) The Sequim HS proposed building plan has cut the music rooms from two to one.  Two music rooms are necessary to meet the needs of our students.

2) The choir and band teacher positions have been reduced. More course offerings are needed to support a music program where all students can thrive- from beginner through advanced musicians.  

3) Furthermore, an orchestra program must also be established, offered for grades 4-12.

4) A new position shall be added to the Sequim School District: a Music Education Supervisor who will hire qualified music educators; oversee music instruction and curriculum across the school district
