Since April 9, 2020 the SEPTA Regional Rail Cynwyd Line has been suspended due to a staff shortage. It is in SOME SERIOUS TROUBLE of being discontinued, and this has been the case for a long time. Just because it is the least trafficked in the system doesn't mean it is insignificant. In my opinion, SEPTA should hire new employees and assign them to the Cynwyd Line. Plus ALL the trains on the Cynwyd Line should consist of 2 or 3 railcars to reduce overcrowding and possibly increase ridership. SEPTA spent tons of money renovating the Cynwyd Line, including rerouting the line and rebuilding the Cynwyd Station. If you sign my petition today, you can save the line.
