By separating the RCMP from direct governmental oversight, we can ensure impartial and thorough investigations.

Independent law enforcement agencies have been shown to improve public trust and accountability. For instance, in countries like Sweden and Norway, independent police authorities have led to higher transparency and reduced corruption (Transparency International). It is crucial that Canada follows this model to maintain integrity within our justice system.
