Sentai Filmworks has been sitting on the North American license to Himouto! Umaru-Chan R since 2017. Since then, the only way to watch this series is to watch it on HIDIVE and Amazon Prime. Sentai claimed they would DUB and get out a home release by 2019, but if that had happened this petition wouldn't have been created.

Another Option

Many fans want a way to watch this series without having to sign up for another streaming service. Many of these fans wish to monetarily support the parties involved in the making of this show and would also like to own a copy of this season to complete their partial collection of only the first season. For some, having a tangible copy of their favorite anime make them feel happy and at the same time feel like they actually own the series they bought.
