Below is a new sign that was posted at Aliso Woods on the entrance to the dirt fire road to the sewage treatment plant along the south side of Aliso Woods off of Alicia. The thing is, I used to see an e-bike now and then but the Sunday before last I saw mostly e-bikes and only a few standard bikes. Given that I rarely see a ranger it appears to me that there is no way they can possibly enforce the ban with the resources they deploy. 

As more and more people find the miracle of an e-bike they will be powerless to stop the thousands of senior citizens and the younger ones too from using the park on their legal class 1 or 2 e-bike. Given the ADA exception which does not require any proof that you have a mobility disability only that you state so, they are fighting a loosing battle.  I think that there is no way that this discriminatory ban can be enforced. We are winning the war. If you want to make a statement, join and support https://www.electricmountainbikeassociation.org/ and ride your e-bike on natural surface trails in OC Parks. And if stopped, state that you have a mobility disability and they will wave you on. They are not allowed to ask you what it is.
