It's been a long and painful journey for me, as it has been for many others who have suffered the agonizing burden of abuse, only to see their abusers walk freely without accountability. Today, I am calling for a stand against impunity and holding powerful figures accountable for their actions. We must send a strong message that no one is above the law, not even a former President of the United States.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague is the body intended to prosecute individuals for crimes of this magnitude when national governments fail to take appropriate action.
