The UN Special Rapporteur on Torture has stated: “ … forced administration of neuroleptics and other mind-altering drugs is a form of torture.” The Human Rights Committee found “psychiatric experiments and forced injection of tranquilizers … to constitute inhuman treatment.” Patients and witnesses confirm this. Adverse effects of (misnamed) “antidepressants” and “antipsychotics,” imprudently prescribed, include akinesia, metabolic, serotonin and neuroleptic malignant syndromes, dyskinesia, death, substance/medication-induced disorders mimicking mental illnesses, brain shrinkage, akathisia, inner tension, torment or torture, feeling of impending doom, restlessness with worsening depression, toxic hallucinations, suicide, aggression, and homicide. Genetically compromised metabolizers who experience adverse drug reactions receive forced injections. Prescribers are educated by ghostwritten guidelines to prescribe multiple drugs in large doses when their makers cannot promote them legally because safety and efficacy have not been established in children.
