Inslee and Murray say they are developing a solution to the salmon-killing lower Snake River dams. They promised a public process, but they have locked the public out of their discussions.  We must demand they let us in.

The latest $80 million government Columbia Basin dam study completed in 2020 proves that without breaching the lower Snake River dams, Snake River salmon will not recover. Nevertheless, the government again chose dams over salmon. This is a bad trade off.

We don’t need energy from the dams. We have a surplus. In contrast, salmon have nourished the Pacific Northwest for millennia. They are now going extinct.

Salmon and Southern Resident Killer Whales Need You to Demand that Inslee and Murray open up their process for public input. This may be our best last chance to save orcas and lower Snake River wild salmon before extinction happens.

Please link to message or call Governor Inslee (360-902-4111) and Senator Murray (202-224-2621) today. Tell them you want to be part of developing the dam solution. Tell them we need to breach the dams starting this year. Then we need to start work on making all those harmed by dam breaching whole. We do not want to kill our wild salmon and orcas in order to use the lower Snake River to ship grain to Asia.
