Pets are important in our lives.  They reduce stress and add to the safety of our communities.  For a landlord to charge an extra monthly fee PER PET, should be illegal.  All they need is a security deposit to cover any damages that may occur in an apartment, to be forfeited by the human being that signed the lease!  My cat cannot get a job or be responsible for the condition of an apartment, it is ridiculous to charge it rent, let alone the sizable, NON REFUNDABLE deposit that most landlords also require.  Legislators, please fight for lifestyle equality.  Please outlaw these insane policies.
