Bar Harbor visioning committee somewhat unexpectedly recommended a multi-use maritime facility for the former Blue-nose ferry terminal, rather than a cruise ship pier. It’s a little more expensive in the short term to do it this way, but we welcome the decision as really thinking ahead. The Town Council votes next week on the next step.
