A plea from Friends of Frenchman Bay: “We are asking everyone, even if you don't live in Bar Harbor, to write to the Bar Harbor Town Council, as well as the three newspapers: MDIslander, Ellsworth American, and Bangor Daily. Even if you write just a few lines, please write! Let them know respectfully what your thoughts are on the probable front runner, the cruise ship berthing pier, and send copies to newspapers. Below is the email for the Town Council, as well as the individual counselors emails, which are public. council@barharbormaine.gov” If you are a resident or a visitor, this part of the Maine coast is a national treasure and deserves a national response.
