We have 778 supporters! Thank you all for your help. I want to send a shout out to some of our wonderful photographers whose work has been used here. Our little seal poking his head out of the waters of Frenchman Bay is shared by Gale McCullough, a naturalist who has worked in the Frenchman Bay Area for decades. The view down from the top of Cadillac over The Bay where the pier would be built is from Ivy Main, an environmental lawyer who has been summering here--again, for decades. And the stunning view of the night sky was taken by Nate Levesque at www.natelevesquephotography.com. I thank you all for your generosity in allowing us to use your work here. My thanks are long overdue. We have a couple of projects we are working on, and I hope to ask you about them soon. In the meantime, please send your contributions in to Friends of Frenchman Bay, P.O.Box 533, Mt.Desert ME 04660. Funds will be used for postage, advertising, printing and the like as we continue our fight locally. A local resident has similarly started a GoFundMe page to get donations to FFB at https://www.gofundme.com/funds-for-friends-of-frenchman-bay. Every little bit helps, so please consider a contribution. I am stunned and heartened by your support. It seems so many of you share our view of Frenchman Bay and Acadia National Park as an American treasure, one to be cherished, not exploited. Let's keep up the fight!
