Dear SLI Board of Management,

With the increasing number of COVID infections in Jakarta and the tightening of the large scale social restriction, we are yet here again continuing with virtual learning.

This has continued to challenge how we juggle and multitask activity at home, both parents and students of Sekolah Lentera Indonesia. And yet the students are still missing out on a huge learning activity and opportunities that they would have been receiving had they been physically attending on-site school. As parents, we appreciate the efforts that go towards virtual learning are by no means trivial for teachers but having said that, collectively we feel that it is only fair for all parties concerned that reductions in school fee are applied again this year. We urge you to sincerely review your proposed fee increase which starkly paint a different outlook and expectations of the level of education received to the reality.

We hope all the school staff are staying safe and well and we look forward to hearing a more positive response from you.
