Hello all, Maria Bennet got in touch with the council to raise concerns about our playground being closed. The Council say they have no choice as it was in a poor state of repair and a aim has been made against the council followinv an accident. There has been no decision yet on what will be done with the site. It will cost £55000 to build a new playground or between £10000 - £20000 to return it to a grass landscape. Obviously we want the playground to be restored. We now have 290 signatures. I will print this petition next week and present it to the proper person detailing what we feel should be done.
