On December 27, 2021, Carlos M Silva (41 years young) was found brutally murdered in Jacksonville, Florida. This horrific discovery was made by local sheriffs following an out-of-state welfare check request. Law enforcement reported that he had been deceased for several days, with his murder occurring sometime over the Christmas holiday.

Justice has yet to be served. The person responsible remains disturbingly at large and free. Not to mention, likely posing a danger to others. 

Carlos was an amazing, beautiful soul—a true one-of-a-kind. He was a good person, loved life and didn't deserve to have his recklessly cut short. He brought so much joy and laughter to those around him with his kind nature and sense of humor. He was a loving Son, Brother, Cousin, Nephew and friend to many far-and-wide. His tragic death has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends who are still grappling with this tremendous loss.

We call on the Florida State District Attorney's office to prioritize this case and ensure that Carlos's murderer is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It is crucial not only for bringing peace to Carlos's grieving loved ones but also for ensuring public safety.
