Imagine going to court fearing for your safety, seeking help and instead being met with a wall of pre-conceived judgments and bias. This is my story – and the story of so many others under the jurisdiction of Judge Jeffrey Bushur.

He has shown a consistent pattern in favoring higher-class citizens and men, undermining the voices of women and minorities. Accusations of domestic violence and small claims cases are dismissed without thoroughly reviewing evidence, thus creating harmful scenarios for the victims.

Everyone deserves a fair trial, a fundamental right enshrined in our justice system. But the courtroom of Judge Jeffrey Bushur is devoid of this principle. It is our collective duty to protect the integrity of our justice system and to ensure fair treatment for all individuals, regardless of their background.
