This Sunday (18 January) at 2:30pm, supporters of our campaign to repurpose Queensbury Tunnel will gather at its northern entrance for a short rally.
Those attending will hear about the plans of National Highways - and our Government - to waste £7.5M of public money on a partial infilling scheme, funding which could instead be spent on repairs to make the tunnel greenway-ready.
Our community deserves the social and economic benefits that the structure's reopening would deliver as part of what Sustrans (Walk Wheel Cycle Trust) has described as "an iconic and nationally significant" active travel network linking Bradford, Keighley and Halifax.
If you're able, please join us to show your support for our positive tunnel vision - the retention and regeneration of this exceptional Victorian asset, to benefit future generations.
