People are signing the petition for two main reasons: because they want to lower CO2 emissions and reduce air pollution, and because they want EVs to become more readily available in Australia. Both of these are important factors in enabling Australia to reach its emissions targets by 2030.  

For this issue to be taken seriously by our Government, we’re going to need a lot more support!
