🚨 URGENT: Insulin Access in Australia
Australia hasn’t made insulin since 1993.
And there’s no transparency around our National Medical Stockpile.
We don’t know how much insulin is stored—or if there’s any at all.
💉 That means every child, every adult with diabetes—Type 1, Type 2, or otherwise—is relying on overseas shipments to survive.
✈️ If planes are delayed, if shipping is disrupted, if war/disaster strikes—there’s no backup. No safety net. No locally made insulin.
It’s not fear—it’s reality.
This isn’t just about my son. It’s about 1.8 million Australians.
