Secure a Human Rights Attorney for HUD Tenants in Nashville, TN THEY NEED OUT YESTERDAY !

The Issue

I have personally witnessed the power of community coming together in times of crisis. It's a beautiful sight to behold. However, it is deeply distressing to see the hazardous living conditions that my fellow humans are forced to endure at Skyview Terrace & Harding Glen in Nashville, TN.

Thousands of tenants, including elderly and disabled individuals as well as children, are suffering from long-term mold inhalation due to biohazardous conditions. Excessive dust fills their homes and floors and ceilings are caving in due to foundational issues. The constant seepage of sewage smells into their homes is unbearable, and exposed electrical sockets. Additionally, the fire alarm system does not function properly which poses a grave risk.

The mental health toll on these families cannot be understated; they live with the multi-trauma of being neglected every day without knowing what harmful substances they're breathing in codes has only abated 2 of the 88 uninhabitable units.

To make matters worse, fraudulent paperwork has led 22 tenants facing illegal evictions.

We urgently need your help to secure a human rights attorney who can fight for these tenants' rights and ensure that they are provided with safe living conditions as is their right under Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program by HUD (U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development), TDHA and many other local municiplaities are aware of this issue and are NOT helping these tenants.

We found out there is a special zoning on these homes and the plan was to wait them out and apperentley just mass evict them, one tenant already passed away during this fight.

Please sign this petition now! Stand up for human rights! Stand up for safe housing! Your signature could be the difference between life or death for these residents.

From the Tenants :

THIS IS OUR LIVELIHOOD WE ARE HUMAN….WE GOT LIL PPL TO RAISE WITH NO DISTRACTIONS WE WANT OUT with Vouchers & full relocation this is inhumane !
