change.org selects Daphne Bradford as a 2023 Los Angeles Change Maker

Hello Everyone,

I was unexpectedly surprised and excited when I received the change.org email proclaiming, “Congratulations Daphne!" because my petition, Secretary Pete Buttigieg MUST Stop the 90 Freeway Tear Down!, is one of only 10 petitions selected to be a part of the  the movement:  Los Angeles Standout Petitions of 2023.”  

As we close out 2023, Change.org has compiled a list of the cities with the most active changemakers and their respective petitions.  Change.org movements are made up of everyday people asking for change in their communities.  Thank you from the bottom of my community organizing heart for signing my petition.  Los Angeles is in second place with the most petitions created in 2023.  This is how you end 2023 and move into 2024! 

My goal is to declare victory in 2024 by winning Secretary Pete Buttigieg's support.  U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg MUST Stop the 90 Freeway Tear Down!  I'm calling on him to REJECT federal funding for the Marina Central Park grant application submitted by Streets For All founder Michael Schneider, who wants to demolish the CA 90 freeway. 

I started a GoFundMe to help with hosting meetings and pay for postage for mailers. With a small donation, $5, $10 or whatever your budget will allow, from those of you who signed, viewed and/or shared this petition, I will continue the daily fight to get Secretary Pete Buttigieg to Stop the 90 Freeway Tear Down!
