Various members of driving staff are under the impression that by changing the laws on time spent behind the wheel would impact on the amount of hours worked in a day / week would reduce earnings. This legislation is out dated and would not affect by change the amount of hours driving in any one day it is purely a scheduling issue for Company's to deal with. We would maintain 10 hours driving in any one day worked and for clarity we are trying to achieve reducing the amount of time behind the wheel n one piece of work hence the reduction under H & Safety please support this campaign.
