Thank you everyone. You have worked so hard on this. I'd name names but would feel awful if I missed someone out, but you all know who you are and you should be extremely proud of what you have achieved so far. For a petition of this type, 5000+ signatures is absolutely amazing. This figure wont get us an interview with the PM or any knight/damehoods but we do know that we absolutely have everyones attention now. It was never "another moan about NICE". We based it on facts. We focused it on the fact that if those guidelines are published, the suggested treatment protocols for people with this disease will not be appropriate for pregnant women or children and will be insufficient to treat those of us with entrenched chronic Lyme. This is such an insidious disease, it is so difficult to diagnose let alone treat and we have to educate our physicians to work with us, to listen to our weird symptoms and to create holistic treatment plans. No negativity; lets all make a conscious choice to make every decision we make a positive one.
