This is the last thing we wanted, but enough is enough

The Interior Secretary, Haaland, has chosen to advance the slaughter of wolves on the doorstep of Yellowstone. The surrounding states are once again lining up to continue the slaughter. 20 tags for $20 bucks. It's a bloodbath. 

She has refused all attempts to communicate, she has turned down or cancelled every meeting concerning the issue, what choice to we have ? We're forced to go public and demand she either return protections to wolves immediately or resign and be replaced with someone who will. 

Last year in just a few weeks 
20% of Yellowstone wolves were slaughtered
Entire packs wiped out
Many others irrevocably scattered 
It will take decades for the parks wolf population to stabilize again

States openly targeting a 90% reduction in wolf populations

There's only one way to describe it
extermination 

We're asking you to join us on this sad day. A day when we were expecting so much more, and this is what we got. Shame hardly covers it.

Western states surrounding Yellowstone are offering bounties and allowing any means to slaughter wolves at an unprecedented rate. Hunters are baiting wolves out of the park and slaughtering entire packs. Haaland has refused to even discuss it. 

What choice do we have. 
With 100,000 signatures we can at least compel this administration to take a meeting.

It's a bloodbath out here, entire packs slaughtered, others scattered. It will take years if not decades for the packs to stabilize again. This is a catastrophe and we cannot sit idly by and watch, as all we've worked so hard for, is so callously destroyed.
