The Government must scrap its plans to hike National Insurance on ordinary working people from April 2022.

People are already facing huge increases in energy bills, high inflation, real-term wage cuts and cuts to Universal Credit. They cannot afford this Tory tax hike.

The rich should be the ones to pay for any tax increases – not those at the sharp end of a cost-of-living crisis. 

So we call on the Government to replace the proposed National Insurance increase with taxes on the wealth of the richest 1%.
