Response from NHS Lanarkshire to Counsellor Fiona Dryburgh

In my opinion this is a generic response to try and make patients think everything is going to be ok. Today I met with Dr Linda Findlay, Medical Director and Euan Duguid, Communication Manager from South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership. Patients of Greenhills Medical Practice should be assured NHS Lanarkshire is currently working closely with the practice, as well as other practices in the East Kilbride area. NHS Lanarkshire stressed that patient care – and continuity of care – is their absolute priority. NHS Lanarkshire’s primary aim is for the Greenhills Medical Practice to continue as a going concern. They are working closely with the current doctors at Greenhills – and seeking to secure a new owner – with the aim of ensuring continuity of services.
