Ignored by Multiple GP Practices — Stand With Patients in Crisis

I’ve experienced neglect from three different GP practices while living with daily seizures — I’ve been spoken to with rudeness and ignorance when I’ve tried to explain to receptionists and GPs that my chronic pain and suffering due to NEAD causes me to have unwanted suicidal thoughts. I’ve been

 treated like my life doesn’t matter by GPs and reception staff.  and no one should have to go through this.

I want to share more about why this petition matters to me personally.

I live with a neurological condition called Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder (NEAD), which causes daily seizures. For the past eight months, I’ve been having seizures every single day. Despite this, my GP practices have repeatedly failed to provide adequate support.

I was overlooked by my previous GP practice, and when I raised my concerns with a new doctor at a different practice, I was left feeling very uncomfortable due to the silence I received. After that, my care went downhill again. This isn’t just about one GP practice — it has happened with three different practices. No one should have to experience this level of neglect while living with a serious condition.

This lack of care pushed me to crisis point. I reached a stage where I felt completely hopeless and alone. Patients deserve compassion, communication, and timely help — not to be dismissed or made to fight for basic care.

I also want to be honest: I cannot manage social media. It’s overwhelming and can trigger my seizures. I’m asking for help in spreading the word. If you support this petition, please share it on my behalf — in your networks, groups, or anywhere you think it might be seen.
