I have linked here a film I made today. It shows one of the areas under threat from the developers, should they gain approval for their plans at Drumkinnon, Balloch.
This is the Drumkinnon Woods. This is the area that many will tout as scrub land, ran-down, post industrial. When in fact, this is the rump of ancient woodland.
And this film demonstrates not only how peaceful a haven they are from a busy, often overcrowded and noisy Balloch, but that they are a haven for wildlife and wildflowers, with an extensive carpet of bluebells.
The Planning Application in Principle has now been published on the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park website. I urge you, once you have watched the film, to go to their website, find the application and look at their proposals.

Make YOUR mind up. All I can do is show you where everything is. Including where we are. Here. In Balloch. Waiting to see if our woods, our riverside and our bay, are going to be dug over and commercialised.
It's up to you as well as us to make our voices known.
