Big thank you to every one of you who have signed this petition to stop the sale of 44 acres of land at Loch Lomondside to allow us space to put forward a proposal to keep these former public and burgh lands in the hands of the people. I hope you have all had and are having a wonderful Christmas. Very shortly I will be revealing a further proposal for the authorities, planning officers and the people of Balloch to think about. Clearly we need to progress some much needed ideas for this area that protect it from profiteering but benefit Balloch, the loch and enhance what we have, and this further proposal does, I believe firmly, tick all the boxes and more. Please do keep sharing the petition and let more people know that their voices matter very much indeed if Loch Lomond and Balloch are to be protected from future over-development and land-grabs such as the one at Drumkinnon so clearly is.
