It is now the breeding season for wildcats and we are doing all we can to allow them to raise their kittens in peace without the threat of logging destroying their forest home. We are actually trying to stop the government from logging the Clashindarroch forest and so we receive no government funding. The funds raised through adoptions go towards our crucial project work which on top of the campaign/ lobbying work we have illustrated this week, also includes grass roots conservation work such as monitoring wildcats, neutering domestic cats to stop hybridisation, habitat protection, promoting responsible pet cat ownership, community education and campaign work such as this one.
We are at a critical stage in our project, we simply have to save the Clashindarroch forest and it’s priceless wildcats and so your help is much appreciated. We simply can’t do it without you.
