Just a quick note from me to thank every one of you once again for the phenomenal support shown to the Scottish wildcat through this petition.

It's been a year of huge ups and downs for the wildcat with more people than ever before becoming aware of its plight, but on the flip side, the conservation of these cats and the politics that surrounds them has become more convoluted than ever before. The attached video, including a brief field report from Clashindarroch, perhaps emblemises that point well.

My hope is, that with more eyes on the situation than at any other time, it has got a lot harder to just brush this cat under the carpet, and we're hopefully not far from seeing them get their "day in court" and a reinforced and hopefully much improved protection for Clashindarroch Forest and all the animals that live there.
