After updating yesterday (I promise I won't do these every day!), a few people have asked how they can donate to Wildcat Haven; the group that found these cats and raised the alarm about logging in their territories. Funds for the wildcats in Clashindarroch are urgently needed. They need to identify if there are any more, where they live and how they use the forest to keep them safe from things like logging. These cats might also help us understand how better to protect wildcats, or whether there may be others still surviving somewhere else in the Highlands, yet to be discovered. Any funds raised through this petition will be spent directly helping the Clashindarroch wildcats, purchasing important equipment like the remote cameras used to find and study them without disturbing them (a video on that work here; www.youtube.com/watch?v=7B7VfRZl4zE).
