Breakthrough in UK law!

Due to hard work and dedication from Richard Lochhead MSP in Moray and the phenomenal response on this Change.org petition there has been a shift in UK law.
The Committee of Advertising Practice and the Advertising Standards Authority have issued an Enforcement notice to 124 businesses within the UK - soon to be issued nationwide.
This notice states clearly that ALL delivery charges are required to be stated in full before the payment screen or options. This change means less wasted hours -going through the checkout process to then be charged excessively or not be able to order the item anyway!
If the website advertises "Free UK delivery" - it now by law has to cover the Highlands and Islands regions.
These companies have a month to change their advertising policy. From the 31st of May 2018 the Ad Standards Authority have the legal right to take action.
This important step is a big move towards the country acknowledging the issue fully and more specific regulations on charges coming in to practice.
Thank you from both Richard (MSP) and myself for your support and if you could sign his petition also we can reach higher numbers for evidence.
