Hello supporters. I'm so relieved to let you know that yesterday we learned that the Attorney-General has agreed to file a "friend of the court" brief to support my case against a big multinational in the US Supreme Court.
This wouldn't have happened without thousands and thousands of you sending Senator Cash emails, or picking up the phone to call her office last week. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.
We're still on our feet, thank God. We're still fighting and we're going to bring ugg back home. It looks like the preliminary arguments will be heard as early as next month, and then the US Supreme Court will hopefully agree to hear the case in May or June next year.
We still have a huge fight ahead of us, and I will keep you all informed as we fight with all we've got to bring the Ugg home where it belongs.
Hearing the news yesterday, and seeing all your emails and phone calls to Senator Cash roll in, put a tear in my eye, because it made me proud to be an Australian. I put all my life savings into this. But I knew I was fighting and I'm still fighting for what's right for Australia and for my business.
We're not home and hosed yet, but today is a good news day.
If you're on Twitter, you can click here to send a quick tweet to the Attorney-General to say thank you for defending the Aussie Ugg.
All my thanks and gratitude,
Eddie Oygur
