Actualización de la peticiónScott Morrison: Release the asylum seekers from PNG Bomana prisonRelease the 54 asylum seekers from PNG Bomana prison

Please note: This Petition has been edited to reflect the fact that the number of asylum seekers imprisoned in Bomana has sadly increased from 53 to 54.

Another man was recently taken to the prison. He was forcibly removed from his hospital bed in Port Moresby. He was reported to be so seriously ill that Australian doctors had escalated his Medevac case. Now his medical transfer is effectively blocked and his doctors, lawyers and advocates cannot contact him to check on his well-being or to advise him. There are grave concerns for his health.

We are just about to hit a new milestone of 2500 signatures! With each new milestone Morrison is notified of our petition.

2500 signatures is a great response but it is not enough. We must make make sure that many, many more people know that the Morrison government is responsible for the unjust imprisonment, torture and possible deaths of these men. We must do everything we can to save their lives.

As of today the men have been held incommunicado for 62 days.

Please, please keep signing and sharing.

Thank you so much to all of you who continue to believe in justice, fairness and compassion. And in human rights for all humans.

Sending love and strength to you all,

Michele
