Last week, Immigration Minister Alex Hawke made a last minute undertaking to grant new 3 month visas to Priya, Nades and Kopi on Wednesday - one day after their current visas expire.

Now, our Biloela family face another agonising countdown to the expiry of the visas, two days before Christmas.

Under Australian law, Scott Morrison’s Ministers have always had the power to bring Priya, Nades and the girls safely home to Biloela with the stroke of a pen.

But by keeping four-year-old Tharni in community detention, Minister Hawke is stopping this family from coming home to Bilo, where they are welcome, wanted and needed.
