Today is Tharunicaa's third Birthday. Speaking to Priya and Kopika last night they were making Tharunicaa a special cake to celebrate her special day.

Tharunicaa was taken from her home in Biloela when she was only nine months old. Her first two birthday's were spent in the Melbourne immigration detention centre and now her third birthday will be spent in the detention centre on Christmas Island. We can't wait until Tharunicaa can have a birthday in Queensland the state of her birth.

Acting Immigration Minister Alan Tudge could give Tharunicaa the best birthday gift of all by allowing her and her family to return Biloela.

Today, if you haven't already could you please write Tharunicaa a special birthday card and instead of posting your card to Christmas Island, where our politicians have trapped her, please post it directly to Minister Tudge by addressing your envelope to:

Remember to include your full name and address, along with a (polite) note asking Minister Tudge to pick up his pen and bring Priya, Nades, Kopika and Tharunicaa home to Biloela, where they belong.
