Last night I watched with bated breath as the votes were counted. This morning it looks like Priya, Nades and the girls' fate continues to be in the hands of David Coleman and Scott Morrison.

This is a reality that we planned for which is why on Friday I, along with my fellow Biloela residents and Craig Foster delivered a 190,000 strong petition to David Coleman. We know they are listening and we need your help to ensure they continue to.

So today I ask you to extend a message to Scott Morrison. Please send a polite email to enquiry@cchq.org.au asking him to share his good fortune with our family and as a victory gift allow Priya, Nades, Kopika and Tharunicaa to stay in Australia and return to Biloela. Here is what I would suggest you write:

Dear Prime Minister,

Last night, Australia re-elected you. On Friday, the office of your Immigration Minister accepted our petition, signed by 190,000 people, calling on your Government to bring Priya, Nades, Kopika and Tharunicaa home to Biloela.

Please Prime Minister, I am asking you to share your good fortune. As a victory gift, will you allow this young family to return to this small Queensland town who desperately wants them home?

Like you, I believe in miracles. Please, permit Priya and her family to return #HomeToBilo.
