Petition updateBring Priya and her beautiful family back home to Biloela, Queensland“Please, Biloela is my home. Please, help my babies.”

This morning, 108 days after Priya, Nades, Kopika and Tharunicaa were snatched from their Biloela home at dawn, family friend Simone went to the Federal Circuit Court.
She was there to learn whether Priya’s plea to remain here in Australia – birthplace to her two beautiful daughters Kopika and Tharunicaa – would be sent back to the Immigration Assessment Authority for reconsideration.
For more than three months, I’ve been hoping against hope that our complicated immigration system would give Priya another chance.
I couldn’t believe it when I heard that the answer was “no”.
When Priya heard the news, she called our friend, Chandra. Between heartbreaking sobs, all Priya could say was: “Please, please Biloela is my home. Please, help my babies.”
Incredibly, Mr Dutton chose yesterday – World Refugee Day – to pay tribute to rural and regional communities “who have provided a very open welcome and a very warm welcome to those from the most vulnerable parts of the world.”
“There is nothing quite like a country welcome,” he said.
Now, Priya and Nades urgently need your to help show Mr Dutton how just how welcoming Australia can be. Under the Migration Act, he alone can intervene to bring this family home to Biloea.
Please click this link (http://bit.ly/2tfy8gR) to Mr Dutton’s facebook page and help us flood his World Refugee Day speech with positive comments in support of Priya and Nades.
Biloela will never give up in this family. Thank you for standing with us.
Angela.
PS We are all upset about today’s news and we know you will be too. But for Priya and Nades’ sake we need every comment in support to be both heartfelt and respectful (yes, even towards Mr Dutton).
