I’ve just got off the phone to Priya. She was sobbing as she told me about the trauma that the Australian government have put her family through since being torn from their home. The family anxiously awaits their fate in a Melbourne Detention Centre. Priya isn’t allowed to cook for her own children, who can’t go outside and play for more than half an hour a day! The children are confused, traumatised, missing their home and even losing their appetites. Peter Dutton has ignored us and it’s time we reach out to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
