Wow. We’re almost at 300,000 signatures, and most of them are from Western Australia. It is amazing to see so many people from all walks of life coming together to keep WA safe from COVID-19 and Clive Palmer.

Maybe you saw the recent news that Clive Palmer said he will drop the border closure case if the case could be heard in Canberra, so he and his lawyers could attend personally to sue WA for $30 billion. MM with support from the upper and lower houses of parliament introduced legislation to block his action.  Though 9 in the upper house voted against Mark McGowan. We can’t let Clive Palmer get away with this.

Christian Porter, the Attorney-General, is a WA politician. We need to send him a message to let him know he needs to do more to make this right.

If you live in WA, can you pick up the phone and call Christian Porter’s Canberra office and ask him to do more to stop Clive Palmer’s war on WA?

1. Dial (02) 6277 7300 (remember to check what time it is in Canberra before you call)

2. Use this script if you like. Remember to be very polite and respectful to the person answering the phone at all times:

“Hello, my name is XXXXX and I’m a West Australian resident. I’m disappointed that the Attorney General isn’t doing more to support our attempts to close our borders and protect our state from COVID-19 and CLive Palmer. I know Mr Porter has been forced to withdraw the Commonwealth’s support for Clive Palmer’s High Court challenge, but he should now withdraw the evidence he provided and support the WA defence instead. I hope Mr Porter listens to the wishes of the vast majority of his fellow West Australians, and not one billionaire from Queensland. Thank you.”

3. Comment “done” under this update so I know you’ve made the call.

It is incredible that this is the biggest West Australian petition in Change.org history. Let’s make the most of it and use our voices to stand up to Clive Palmer.

Thank you.
