I'd like to thank everyone who has signed and shared this petition to make it the largest in WA history. That in itself is a fantastic achievement.
The West Australian government had a brilliant win in the federal court this week, with the judge finding in favour of our closed border is the safest way to prevent the transmission of covid-19.
As we have seen Mr Palmer and Mr Morrison did not take this news well. Palmer has started another court action against Mark McGowan and John Quigley for contempt....Mr Palmer now has 7 cases before the courts suing the West Australian government. We can all hope Mark McGowan can be successful with his case against Palmer as a vexatious litigator...
Morrison showed his true colours by yelling in parliament "open all the borders, and learn to live with the virus". This after he wrote to Mark and stated he was distancing himself from Palmer's high court challenge. He stated that he supported the West Australian government stance. He lied, I believe he expected Palmer to win in the federal court....
Palmer stated we would drop the high court case if he was defeated....He's not only claiming victory because WA wasn't granted a retrial but is proceeding with his high court case.
We cannot give up the fight, Mark McGowan believes we can win the high court case..He's never let us down yet and has had to fight for us every step of the way.
Our state has been subjected to a barrage of diatribe from Palmer through all types of media, even a letter delivered to our homes. He just won't accept we stand behind Mark 100%, or he has another agenda by attempting to instil fear?.
At the time I platformed the petition Palmer had his personal email on his page, he has since changed it to go to his admin. I've edited the petition, and he'll still get notified of our numbers.
Keep strong and continue to share the petition in support of Mark, we must stand in solidarity against Palmer, Morrison, Porter and all the LNP state and federal.
