We have reached a huge milestone in the past week - we now have over 250 supporters! Great job sharing this with your friends and family - keep it up! Last night, I took our cause to the Pedestrian Advisory board to ask the city to take steps toward meeting the city's goal of being America's most walkable city by giving pedestrians the green. The "ped board" advises SDOT on projects and policies. Several members offered strong support and the ped board is expected to add this topic to their agenda to address in a future meeting. I will continue to work with the ped board and other organizations, such as Seattle Neighborhood Greenways, to get an official endorsement. Thanks again for speaking up for pedestrians!
