A new problem arises with vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. The COVID vaccine should be completely optional but the testing should not. Studies and recent data has proven that people can still catch and transmit COVID whether they are vaccinated or not. At Thomas Middle School (TMS), health teacher Colin Craig has been given a religious exemption from getting the COVID-19 vaccine and yet still has to be tested while the vaccinated teachers do not. This case counts as discrimination since (like I have stated), you can give and catch COVID whether you are vaccinated or not. The COVID vaccine does not prevent you from catching COVID, it only just palliates the severe symptoms. With this, though Mr. Craig has an exemption form from the vaccine, the teachers, school board etc. still continue to pressure him to get the vaccine, which he cannot receive due to religious reasons, making it in any way possible uncomfortable for the unvaccinated individuals to lead with their daily lives and job. Stop discrimination between the unvaccinated and vaccinated and sign this petition to create an equal standing between the two.
