the goal: make it mandatory for schools to include LGBTQ+ history in their history lessons, and include in depth sex ed for LGBTQ+ people rather than just straight sex ed, that being in the form of a sex ed class or during the biology classes. either way the books need to be updated to include LGBTQ+ history and biology. 

scrolling through my socials lately has been a disaster. on the one hand there's the amazing people enjoying their pride month, but on the other hand there's the horrible sexist, homophobic and transphobic people this country still enables. now, I don't inerently think these are bad people, I think these are uneducated people that grew up with these bad views on the world and other people, surrounding them. I think we can put a (partial) stop to this by educating people from a young age that things like being gay and being trans are not weird nor bad, they're very human. if we start including LGBTQ+ history in regular history the stigma might lessen, or even disappear completely. we need more LGBTQ+ representation in our classrooms, not only to educate the uneducated, but also to make the people that are LGBTQ+ themselves feel empowered. with this petition I hope to reach people that decide on dutch public school stuff and let them see that we want this. I'm not in school anymore myself, but I want my kids to grow up in a world where everyone is treated as equals. please sign and share with everyone you know. <3

het doel: maak het verplicht voor scholen om LHBTQ+ geschiedenis in hun geschiedenislessen te geven, en seksuele voorlichting voor LHBTQ+ mensen in plaats van alleen alleen heteroseksuele voorlichting, dit in de vorm van een aparte seksuele voorlichting les, of gewoon tijdens de biologie lessen. in ieder geval moeten de boeken ge-update worden zodat ze LHBTQ+ geschiedenis en biologie bevatten.

de laatste tijd voelt door m'n social media scrollen als een drama. aan de ene kant zijn er de geweldige mensen die pride month vieren, maar aan de andere kant zijn er de seksistische, homophobische, en transphobische mensen die ons land nogsteeds hun gang laat gaan. nu denk ik niet dat dit slechte mensen zijn, ik denk dat dit mensen zijn die opgegroeid zijn zonder de juiste informatie, mensen die opgegroeid zijn rond slechte beelden van homoseksualiteit en transgenders etc. ik denk dat we hier een (gedeeltelijke) stop aan kunnen maken als we kinderen van een jonge leeftijd leren dat homoseksueel en transgender enzo zijn helemaal niet raar of verkeerd is, maar dat het heel menselijk is. we hebben meer LHBTQ+ representatie nodig in onze scholen, niet alleen om mensen te informeren, maar ook om de kinderen die zelf LHBTQ+ zijn te laten zien dat er niks mis mee is. met deze petitie hoop ik mensen te bereiken die iets te zeggen hebben over het school systeem, en ik hoop ze te laten zien dat dit belangrijk voor ons is. ik zit zelf niet meer op school, maar ik wil dat mijn kinderen opgroeien in een wereld waar iedereen gelijk behandeld word. teken de petitie alsjeblieft en deel het met iedereen die je kent. <3
